Daniel (Danny) T. Kistner has served as fire chief for the McKinney (TX) Fire Department since 2011. He was among only six fire chiefs nationwide to receive a fellowship to Harvard’s Kennedy School - Senior Executives in Government program in 2011, has served on the Executive Board of the IAFC’s Safety Health and Survival Section for 10 years, and was a past president of the Texas Fire Chief’s Association. Danny is currently a doctoral candidate at SMU.
