Detective James Gardner began his law enforcement career in the United States Air Force in 1991. He has been employed by the Orlando Police Department since 1999 where he has served in the patrol division, provided training to police recruits as a field training officer, served with the school resource unit and Special Victims Unit. He currently works in the department's new Crime Center where he works with some of the newest technology being deployed. James has a degree in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University.
