Beyond his fire service career, Chief Slivinski has over a decade of human resources experience in the private sector, consulting for small and mid-sized organizations. His professional journey also includes over seven years as the Program Director of Assessment and Consulting Services at the Illinois Fire Chief Association. Currently serving as a Managing Partner at Advanced Selections, LLC, he and his team are committed to enhancing organizational effectiveness through researched methodologies. Specializing in refining operational efficiency, developing leadership acumen, and optimizing service delivery empowering organizations to thrive. His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in Fire Administration from Western Illinois University and a master's degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. Additionally, he holds certification as a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) through the Illinois State Fire Marshal. Chief Slivinski has spoken at several national and international conferences on fire service organizational efficiency and leadership development.
