Charlie Butterfield currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Administration with the Meridian Fire Department. Chief Butterfield as overseen the design and construction of three fire stations for the Meridian Fire Department, including stations 7 & 8 which were built concurrently. Chief Butterfield has over 28 years of fire service experience with the last ten years serving in administrative chief officer roles and additionally is the accreditation manager for the fire department. He is a graduate of executive fire officer’s program at the national fire academy and is a designated chief fire officer by the center for professional excellence.
