Thomas is an accomplished Emergency Planning Specialist at the MHA Nation Emergency Operations Center. He has honed his expertise in emergency management and response through extensive experience with the New Town Fire Department and TAT Fire Management. Since joining the MHA Nation team in 2020, Thomas has worked diligently to enhance emergency preparedness and operational efficiency.
In addition to his role at MHA Nation, Thomas serves as a Firefighter and Training Officer, where he applies his deep knowledge of firefighting techniques and safety protocols. He holds numerous certifications, including Firefighter I, Auto Extrication Instructor, and several advanced wildland firefighting courses, reflecting his commitment to public safety.
Thomas is also an active community member, having served as a Council Member for the City of New Town from 2014 to 2022, where he was instrumental in legislative and developmental projects to enhance local governance and community infrastructure. His educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Science/Firefighting from Columbia Southern University, further underpinning his technical and operational skills in emergency services.
