KMB architect’s partner, Bill Valdez, is a nationally recognized leader in justice planning and design, with expertise in public safety, judicial and general government projects. His work on justice and public safety projects across the country brings a broad perspective on emerging trends in law enforcement and court facility design, particularly in creating community-centered environments for public agencies. Bill is passionate about serving public-sector clients, known for his ability to integrate design and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. His leadership has guided complex projects through extensive public processes. Over his career, Bill has planned and designed more than 200 public facilities across the western U.S. For the new Lacey Police Department Building and Training Facility project Bill acted as the principal-in-charge of the extensive design team.
