Jon Hanson is the CEO and Managing Director of Symtech Fire, a global leader in live fire training simulators and facilities. A second-generation expert in fire training systems, Jon has contributed to more than 400 training facility projects across 35+ countries.
He has overseen hundreds of millions of dollars in training infrastructure, including burn buildings, gas-fired props, and complex simulation systems, and has led the development of numerous product innovations advancing safety, realism, and performance in firefighter training.
Jon is a certified firefighter in New Jersey and holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University.
He was selected to present on Emerging Technology in Fire Training Simulators and Facilities at the NFPA Conference and is now bringing this forward-looking perspective to the Station Design Conference.
