Shannon Perry is the Midwest and Canada Territory Sales Manager and National Marketing Coordinator at Interstate Brick, where since 2005 she has become a go to resource for architects and design professionals seeking high performance masonry solutions. With a combination of architectural insight and product expertise, Shannon helps clients bring their design visions to life through innovative and resilient building envelope systems, especially those incorporating structural clay brick.
At Interstate Brick, Shannon has led numerous initiatives that have strengthened the company’s technical and creative presence, including advancements in marketing and graphic communications, new product development, educational programming, the development of wall and shape design capabilities into a new website, and high-profile event planning.
Before joining Interstate Brick, Shannon spent two years with a Detroit-area brick distributor, where she promoted a wide range of masonry products to architects and worked directly with mason contractors. Prior to transitioning into the masonry industry, she practiced as an intern and licensed architect in Michigan for more than 19 years.
During her architectural career, Shannon worked on a wide spectrum of project types including municipal, educational, and aviation—ranging from 3,000 SF to 2.2 million SF. Her experience includes nearly two years as a full-time construction site lead architect as well as seven years with an architecture firm offering construction management services.
Shannon is a member of the American Institute of Architects and remains active within her local chapter. She holds both a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, a program that included graduate-level studies at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
