John holds a degree in construction management from Colorado State University and began his career in 1992 managing capital projects for a major Denver-area school district. Since 2014, his work has focused on public safety, leading more than 50 fire and life-safety projects across 15 districts, departments and municipalities. A frequent presenter and subject matter expert, John brings more than 30 years’ experience in project delivery, risk management and stakeholder alignment. He currently leads NV5’s national Program Management Practice—part of an award-winning firm recognized among ENR’s Top 100 Design Firms and the Zweig Group’s Hot Firms for its innovation and growth across the built-environment sector.
