With more than 35 years of experience, Brian Harris has established himself as a leading authority in the capital planning and design of fire stations, public safety facilities, and support facilities. He has played a pivotal role in the development of well over 325 such facilities nationwide in over 18 states, earning more than 70 design awards for TCA’s innovative work.
Brian is a frequent contributor to the field through his authored articles on the evolving challenges and best practices in public safety facility planning and design. His career is marked by several groundbreaking achievements, including designing the nation’s first LEED-certified fire station, the first LEED-certified fire training facility, the first LEED Platinum fire station, and one of the country’s earliest Net-Zero Energy fire stations.
