Dennis, previously a co-founder of Pacheco Ross Architects (PRA), is the past director of the Emergency Services Market for H2M architects + engineers. Dennis graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a year as an exchange student with the Polytechnic of Central London. He has over 40 years’ experience, including a tenure in real estate development and construction. He is NCARB certified; a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA); NFPA; the International Code Council; licensed in 14 states; and an honorary member of the Kingston Fire Department, NY. He writes and speaks on a variety of fire station design issues. Dennis has authored articles for Fire Chief magazine and co-authored two books. He currently serves on the NFPA 1585 (Emergency Responders Occupational Health) committee. Dennis led the task group for Emergency Services Organization Facilities. He was also appointed to the NFPA - AEOB (Architects, Engineers, Building Officials) as an executive board member in 2022.
