Proposals are now being accepted for presentations at the 12th Annual Station Design Conference (SDC) to be held May 18-21, 2026, at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, Reno, NV.

The 2026 SDC will focus on the design, construction and outfitting of fire, law enforcement, training, and shared public safety facilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic speakers with fresh perspectives on the design, construction and future of public safety facilities. While exhibiting is not required to present, we do encourage it so attendees can find you after your presentation.

 

Things to Note:

• It is not a requirement to have previously attended a Station Design Conference to present but it does help to understand the quality and depth we offer our attendees.
• Attendees prefer presentations that include end-users (chiefs, project managers, or related) experienced in the design and construction of a public safety facility.

Specific topics requested by recent attendees include:

• How to fund a project, funding options and financing issues
• Innovations in technology and security
• LE-specific needs and trends—evidence storage, ranges, forensics, etc.
• Case studies—overcoming challenges or unique challenges
• Physical and mental health spaces in all facilities
• Sustainability for public safety facilities
• Future growth for volunteer stations

Please note that submission of a proposal does not guarantee participation in the 2026 Station Design Conference. The planning committee will review all submissions and make selections based on the relevance and timeliness of the content.

Proposal submissions are due no later than October 30, 2025.
